पपीते का एक पौध अपने जीवन काल मैं डेढ़ से दो क्वीन्टल फल देता है। और इसकी लाइफ चार से पांच  साल तक होती है।  फल  सात सो ग्राम से दो किलो तक हो जाता है। पहली तुड़वाई खेत मैं पौध लगने के बाद  सात महीने मैं स्टार्ट हो जाती है।  आप  इसको घर मैं भी  लगा सकते हैं।

बिजाई :- आप बीज  को नीचे से सुराख़  वाली  टरे  मैं बीज सकते हैं। जिसमे मिटटी रेत  और कम्पोस्ट  (1:1:1 मात्रा ) में हो। ये पौध होने में आठ से बारह दिन का समय  लेता है। उसके बाद इसको टरे से हटा कर   लिफाफों मैं मिटी, रेत  और  खाद डाल  कर लगाएं।

ज़मीन की तैयारी :- ज़मीन की पौध  लगने से एक महीना  पहले  तैयार  कर  लें। और 50 सेंटीमीटर लम्बाई : 50 सेंटीमीटर चौड़ाई :50 सेंटीमीटर नीचे को  खड्डे बना  लें। इस  खड्डे को गोबर खाद और दूसरी खादों से भर  दें। जैसे ऊपर बताया गया है। और हर रोज़ थोड़ा थोड़ा पनि गड्ढे मैं डालते  रहें जब तक पपीता नहीं लगते और  छेह पत्ते नहीं निकल जाते।

दूरी :- पौधे से पौधे  की दूरी दो मीटर होनी चाहिए चरों और।

खाद :- न्यट्रोजन पंद्रह परसेंट , फॉस्फेट पंद्रह परसेंट ,कैल्शियम पंद्रह परसेंट ,सल्फर दस परसेंट।

पहली बार दस  दिन  बाद  उसके बाद महीने  में एक बार।

पहले दस  दिन :-  न्यट्रोजन पंद्रह परसेंट , फॉस्फेट पंद्रह परसेंट ,कैल्शियम पंद्रह परसेंट ,सल्फर दस परसेंट। दो गढों में एक चमच।

अब महीना दस  दिन बाद स्टार्ट करें। न्यट्रोजन पंद्रह परसेंट , फॉस्फेट पंद्रह परसेंट ,कैल्शियम पंद्रह परसेंट ,सल्फर दस परसेंट।  चार खड्डों मैं एक चमच

दुसरे महीने :- न्यट्रोजन पंद्रह परसेंट , फॉस्फेट पंद्रह परसेंट ,कैल्शियम पंद्रह परसेंट ,सल्फर दस परसेंट। चार खड्डों मैं दो चमच।

पानी  की निकासी :- पौधे  को  पनि की निकासी जरूरी  है  जड़  मैं पनि खड़ा  रहना  हानिकारक  होता है।

Papaya can give you 150 kg to 200 kg fruit in its life cycle .the  life  of  a  tree  is 4  to  5  years.  Fruit weight  is from 700 grams to 2 k per  piece . first picking will start from 7 month of planting in the field .

1. Sowing of Seeds
   Sow the seeds in a big holed tray that filled with soil, sand and compost (1:1:1 ),it takes about 8 -12 days to germinate . After the seeds have been germinated take them from a big holed tray and put into a poly bag that filled with compost , soil and sand .
2.  Land Preparing :- The land/nursery has to be ready at least one month before you plant the little papaya on nursery/ land .
   The appropriate hole for little papaya on land / nursery is 50:50:50 ( dig a hole for planting the papaya with sized
   50 cm length:60 cm depth:50 cm width ) then fill the hole with compost/cow/buffalo -dung ,sand and soil with the same measurement as above and watering the hole once in a day untill the little papaya ready to be planted / until the papaya has at least 6 leaves .3. Distance among the tress is at least 2 meters.
3. 4. Fertilizing ( here i use nitrogen15%,phosphat(p205)15%,calium(k20)15%,sulfur 10%)A. The initial fertilizer is given in 10th day then after that you give the fertilizer one time in a month.Here i give the amount of the fertilizer ;A.10 days as apply in here ( Urea+ ZA+ foska ) given in 2 holes @1spoon,B. 1 month counted from the 10 days, fertilizers same as above given in 4 holes and each 1 spoon,C. 2 months old,fertilizers same as above 4 holes given 2 spoon in each hole,D. 3 months old fertilizers same as above 4 holes given 3 spoons in each hole,E. 4 months old fertilizers same as above +NPK given on 4 holes and each 4 spoon so for the next month added 1 spoon of fertilizers and if any you can give them compos or manure one time in a month but be careful in giving of feces of goat , cow and another animal feces, give it in nine inches in the edge of its leaves.
   There are 3 important things that you have to wary ;
   1. Drainage :- papaya need good drainage
   2. Sunshine :- papaya need almost 100% of sunshine
   3. Treatment, as an human they need   good treatments, such as fertilizing , loosing of soil, treatment from pest.
