Description
Broad spectrum anthelmintic.

Target Species
Cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, horses,dogs, and pigs.

Composition
The active ingredient of Panacur is Fenbendazole.

Indications
Infestation with gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and tapeworms, such as Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Bunostomum spp., Gaigeria spp., Capillaria spp., Oesophagostomum spp.,Chabertia spp., Trichuris spp., Strongyloides spp., Dictyocaulus spp., Toxascaris vitulorum, Moniezia spp. Infestation of horses with large and small Strongylus spp., Parascaris equi, Oxyuris equi and Strongyloides spp.

Dosage and Administration
Panacur 25% wettable powder should be made into suspension by mixing with clean water as follows :
• 120 g powder with 2 L water
• 60 g powder with 1 L water
• 6 g powder with 100 ml water

Suspension is administered by means of a bottle or a drenching gun.
Panacur bolus should be administered as such by a bolus applicator or hand.
Dosage recommended for cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, horses and pigs :
One ml suspension per 3 kg body weight (at the dose rate of 5 mg Fenbendazole per kg body
weight)
Panacur 150 mg tablet per 30 kg body weight and Panacur 1.5 g bolus per 300 kg body weight.
Dogs  – One 150 mg tablet per 3 kg body weight for 3 consecutive days at the dose rate of 50 mg Fenbendazole per kg body weight.

Withdrawal Period

Milk :  0(Zero) day

Meat: 8 days
Storage
Store at room temperature in a dry place.
